The tree trunks stand out in stark silhouettes as the dirt road curves behind it. Delicate-looking grasses wave in the breeze, flaunting seed heads and pale colors. Having grown up in central Texas, this scene feels comforting and familiar to me. I enjoyed adding horizontal design elements to create some interesting dissonance and a contemporary slant.
