You know them. The ones who greeted everybody in the hall, had a smile for the brains, the nerds, the jocks and the wallflowers. Flipping through old yearbooks can unearth a flood of faded memories. Thoughts of popularity, talent, athleticism, youthful optimism and angst, and of course, parties. The memories are often idealized, incomplete and fragmented, hazily blurred by the intervening years, whether five or fifty. From my ongoing yearbook series.
