In Power Nap, I sought to capture the quiet poetry found within the mundane moments of everyday life, even those so ordinary as waiting. The composition centers on the man, asleep in a chair, his vulnerability contrasting with a stark environment, emphasizing the contrast between human fragility and the impersonal structures around us. In the background, two other figures serve as reminders of the shared experience of waiting. Power Nap is a meditation on the human condition, on the passage of time, and on the universal desire for rest amidst the chaos of life.
