Painting at La Romita School of Art near Terni, Italy.
On my way to see the olive grove, I passed by these sheep at feeding time. What luck to see them during the golden hour when raking light reveals their forms so vividly! They belong to a neighbor who loans them to La Romita to keep the grass trimmed and to fertilize the trees.

Matted and ready to frame. (Pastel works must be protected behind glass. Once done, they will have a long life, equal to oils.)
