Anyone Can Draw Introduction

Posted by L••• H••• on

Did you stop drawing as a child because someone said you had no talent?
Do you have trouble drawing a stick figure? A straight line?
Do you wish you could draw what you see, but believe it's impossible because you're untalented?
Do you want a stronger foundation for your art you'd like to make?

As you may have guessed, I believe that drawing is a teachable, learnable skill that has little to do with talent and everything to do with desire and persistence. To put my energy where my mouth is, I designed a class for adult beginners who have those two things: a desire to learn and an attitude of persistence.

"I have not seen what I have not drawn." --Goethe

Seeing is key to drawing. This workshop will enhance your experience of the world around you--without a large investment in art supplies. It will lay the foundation for an absorbing pastime that offers an alternative to digital screens and relief from stress.

The next Anyone Can Draw class is scheduled for September 24-Nov. 5, Wednesdays 10 am-12 pm. Registration opens in August.

See class outline and schedule here.

Expressing your interest in the class puts you on an early registration list before the class is publicized more broadly.
