A Saturday Workshop

Looking to improve your ability to draw what you see? Observational drawing can be an absorbing hobby and a strong base for representational painting. By practicing these basic skills, you can approach any subject with confidence. When you know where to begin, drawing is fun.

Workshop Overview

  1. Learn to see and draw negative shapes.
  2. Sketch basic shapes and combine them with negative shapes to capture a subject.
  3. Draw a face using a method that combines negative and basic shapes.
  4. Use the principles of perspective to draw believable geometric structures.
