Ghost Ranch Juniper is the result of a technique suggested by workshop instructor KB Jones. It involved laying down a thick layer of pastels then removing them with an eraser in highlighted and mid-toned areas until the subject emerges. The technique gives it a mysterious nocturnal atmosphere.
