I was high when I created this piece—high in the air over the western US on my way to Portland, Oregon. It’s empowering have a studio on my lap in the form of an iPad and Procreate. This piece is my response to a common coffeeshop scenario when two friends meet to catch up with each other's lives. It's also testimony to my attraction to light and shadow and how they define the human figure.
